About Us
The Pen & Stationery Association of India began in 1968 as The Bombay Fountain Pen Manufacturers & Traders Association, inspired by a collective effort in 1962 to support India’s war efforts. It was formally established to address industry challenges, including an unjust tax hike on pens. As members diversified into broader stationery products and the association’s reach extended nationwide, a name change was proposed. In 2017, it was officially renamed to reflect its expanded scope and pan-India presence. Today, with over 700 members across the country, the association continues to represent, support, and promote the interests of the pen and stationery industry.
